Our D-Mannose is derived from D-Glucose, which is sourced from Non-GMO corn.

​ Non-GMO corn dextrose fermentation: The process starts with isolating dextrose from corn (a sugar, so it does not contain allergenic corn protein), which is then fed to microorganisms. The microorganisms produce these nutrients, and the nutrients are then isolated and purified away from the starting materials. The final product is generally well tolerated by those with a corn sensitivity as the corn protein is removed.

Our high grade D-Mannose is manufactured for pharmaceutical purposes and we are one of only a few companies who purchase this for a Urinary Tract Support supplement. Specialists use only this specific D-Mannose for a condition called Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation (CDG) and we believe this higher grade should be available for urinary tract support as well. 

We manufacture and package our D-Mannose products in California in a Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) facility.  

Sources of D-Mannose
Currently, there are only two sources of D-Mannose on the market for urinary tract support supplements:

​Glucose: that is derived from Non-GMO Corn or Corn: we only use Non-GMO sourced.

Birch: There is a facility that claims to source from birch; however, our research indicated that it may still be mixed with a corn source and not a pure birch.

D-Mannose Misinformation

There is a lot of misinformation online about where D-Mannose is sourced.

Although D-Mannose can be found in many foods such as cranberries, apples, berries, pineapple etc., there is no product on the market that is sourced from anything other than Corn or Birch/Corn mix. There's even a rumor going around that some products source from Jujube fruit, which is completely false.
